My fren fangyi and i went on a package tour to Hokkaido in June 2006. It was 7 days , 5 days in Hokkaido and 1 1/2 days in Toyko.We had so much fun shopping , eating and enjoying the scenary.even though it is summer in singapore, the weather in japan is wet and humid...梅雨季节...the japanese do not like this weather cos people get sick easily.
拉面Ramen is a must-try in Japan....we tried one in Tokyo and the other in Hokkaido...i prefer the hokkaido ramen, not so salty...costs abt 800 yen ($12) cheaper than tokyo ramen which costs abt 1200 yen ($18) 赞！

but once you tried it, you will not like singapore ramen anymore...hehhe and remember to eat it like japanese, slurrp...the noodle:P
5-LAYERED ICE CREAM 五彩冰淇淋
Another must-try item :5-layered ice cream ...lavender..vanilla..honey melon (hokkaido flavour)...strawberry...coffee....yummy :P in different places...you can also try orange, sesame, green tea flavour....0.jpg)
HOKKAIDO CRAB 北海道螃蟹
Hokkaido crab...very sweet and abundant in the country...but very expensive....1kg costs 1500yen ($100)..the older the crab ...the more expensive...but a must try!

Yeah man, I miss the ramen...and I cant wait for my next trip. Too bored in Singapore, so sad gonna stuck here during the Deepavali/Hari Raya break..

started the new cell last week. its going to be a fortnight meeting. though its only 4 of us now, but its cool. pas david is leading us bs now. well, next step will be time for the rest to get someone to take over my place.
