PRIORITY SEATS: how EFFECTIVE is it?

actually ,

i wanna to take a pic of our Singapore new Priority seating logo on MRT, Buses...

Did you notice?

there seems to be more Priority seating stickers , esp on MRT

BUT

ARE they really EFFECTIVE?

i was riding on a SBS bus during a peak period...very crowded

i was standing beside a PREGNANT lady

and in front of us were 6 green PRIORITY seats

and DID ANYONE OF THEM GAVE UP THEIR SEATS ?

NO...................

of cos it made me angry...imagine i am the pregnant lady...

apparantly, the STICKERS were not effective at all...

i was researching for a suitable picture for this blog...

chanced upon an article by david in london

not surprisingly, he did his research in london tube

and found that most people in london dun give up seats to pregnant ladies, elderly...

EDUCATION, CULTURE?

or we are just BO CHAP?
