On My Knees

when so many voices surround me

screaming for attention all at once

makes me long for some time with the Lord

on that chair by the window i go

to be with Him alone

On my knees

is where i wanna be

when this life overwhelms me

i can pour my heart out

and bear my soul to the One who loves me

On my knees

just me and my Lord in a quiet place

thats the best way i start my day

so when my life moves so fast i cant catch my breath

that appointment needs to be the first to go

thats wat i need the most
